Masternodes: A collection of currently valid and updated guides...
...from the first installation, to securing the VPS/server, to the resolution of the most common problems.Official installation guide at this direct link:
https://3dctalk.net/topic/12/masternode-installationIn more than a year of activity of our masternodes network, various guides have been written, starting naturally from the official installation guide that is the basis of everything and which is also linked to the official website 3dcoin.io in the "Resources" menu.
But whoever decides to undertake the strenuous but fascinating way of the "masternode operator" knows that during his installation, management, maintenance, updating of his or her own masternodes he will have to face many difficulties and problems that are physiological but whose resolution does not other than to increase the experience of the masternode operator and this is a benefit for the whole network because a network managed by expert masternode operators who know how to deal with problems with cold determination is a stronger network.
With particular pride I remember that the 3DCoin network recognized the utmost importance to masternodes (and therefore to masternodes operators) with the "mining fork" intervened at block 475000 on March 14, 2019, when the classic mining "POW" was stopped and it is the new innovative and experimental protocol "Proof of Sync" has been implemented which entrusts the creation of blocks exclusively to masternodes. The "classic masternodes 101" introduced by Dash as a technology now in the distant 2014 are then brought by 3DCoin to a level of importance and absolute specialization since the masternodes in the 3DCoin network become the only "miners" or "forgers", that is the only creators of the blocks. In fact it is difficult to find a suitable term since it is an absolute novelty. However regardless of the terminology, it is important to underline that precisely this pre-eminent role of masternodes in the 3DCoin network requires a particular commitment and great preparation and specialization of masternodes operators, to note that currently as I write today 30 April 2019 the network consists of more than 4000 masternodes enabled (so it is one of the most extensive masternodes networks in the world, to make a comparison consider that Dash at the moment does not reach 5000 masternodes enabled). For those wishing to explore the important role of the masternodes in the 3DCoin network here are two links that point directly to the sections of the Whitepaper and of the official Wiki where the unique features of the 3DCoin masternodes are explained in detail:Whitepaper sections:

So we said, the masternodes operators are required to know how to intervene in case of problems to their masternodes, with cold determination and without panic. After all it must also be fun to play the role of masternodes operator, so here is to follow the collection of links with useful guides for masternodes operators, starting again from the official installation guide that is always good to keep on hand and then to follow all other topic-specific guides:

https://3dctalk.net/topic/1193/core-qt-3dcoin-wallet-and-blocks-how-to-solve-block-sync-stuck-split-chain-problemsWell, this above is the list of useful guides for masternodes operators. The last three are guides related to the "control wallet" 3DCoin Core QT installed in the computer but certainly useful especially for masternodes operators.
In addition to the guides collected in this topic, to 3DCoin masternodes operators other important documentation and assistance resources are offered through the Telegram messaging app, in particular we have the official Telegram group available at https://t.me/Project_Districts and my unoufficial personal channel / blog always on Telegram available at https://t.me/Districts_3DCoin where they are collected guides, tips and tricks, quick commands, links, in short a small toolbox that is also always available in your smartphone. In any case, for any doubt or need, I suggest you always refer to the official support through this 3dctalk.net forum and through the official Telegram group where you are always welcome and you will find our wonderful community in addition to competent project team!
Enjoy and have fun with your 3DCoin masternode(s) !!!
